Description (last modified by dkocher) (diff)
Hi,
I just discovered Cyberduck, and I'm super impressed. A real Macintosh interface (as opposed to Filezilla for example), and comes even in my language (Dutch). I made a donation right away.
Now I had one problem: I used Cyberduck to upload files generated by iWeb. One of these files is called (according to the Finder) assets.http/--www.xs4all.nl-~gp.plist. That is obviously derived from the URL, where slashes have been replaced by dashes, and, strangely enough, the colon has been replaced by a slash. Cyberduck refused to upload this file, and from the error message is seemed it had interpreted the slash as a delimiter. It said:
/home/.5a/g/gp/WWW/assets.http: No such file or directory.
If I list the file name in a terminal window, it is listed as assets.http:--www.xs4all.nl-~gp.plist, so with a colon instead of a slash. I uploaded the file using the Finder (after mounting the FTP site as a webdisk), and the remote name actually became what the terminal listed.
I hope this information helps fixing this problem.
Regards,
Gerard
